I had a great experience! The compact twin room was clean and comfortable. The self-check-in was easy, and I loved the peaceful vibe despite its central location.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Cardiff
I had a great solo stay! Early check-in was a breeze, thanks to the friendly staff. Clean linens and complimentary tea made my room feel welcoming. Super convenient location near the river. Pro tip, Set your alarm for checkout at 10 am—it comes quickly!

Excellent accessibility to Bute Park for morning walks.
The mattresses were of poor quality, making sleep uncomfortable.

The location is spot on! Just a stone's throw from the town center, everything you need is super close. My room had all the basics covered and felt just right. Plus, a kettle for those late-night cuppas is always a win!
Felt snug, nothing too much trouble.

The room was a disaster! I was shocked to find the kettle, hairdryer, and TV completely powerless—no way to contact anyone for help! It felt like I was left in a blackout with no support whatsoever. To top it off, the self-check-in instructions were accurate, but what good are they when there's no power to enjoy any of the amenities? I expected much better from this place.

Recommend it for a couple looking for a cozy stay
The staff was incredibly helpful, real game changers. They even took the time to send us a personal letter before our arrival, which made us feel special. The room was clean. the toilet was huge and bright with a good hot shower to wash away the stress.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but considering the comfort, I’d say it was acceptable.

Had a blast with my friends! The place is just a hop away from the entertainment area, perfect for late-night fun. Don't miss visiting Cardiff Bay and Cottrell Park Golf Resort if you're looking for activities. Staff were super responsive, and everything was clean and neat, making it easy to cook and chill.
The fridge was heavily iced up, which made it a bit tricky to use. It could've used some maintenance.

I found the location by the River Taff to be a real highlight. Easy steps took me to the city center. The room was clean and spacious, with daily maid service. I appreciated having a little kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. For coffee lovers, two packets of coffee and tea were provided each morning. The view from the window was charming, with a lovely neighborhood and the river. On the downside, the mattress was not up to hotel quality. it was sagging and uncomfortable. I also struggled with the low water pressure in the shower during my stay. Having no real table for meals was inconvenient since we had to eat on the floor. Self-check-in was smooth, but I missed the personal touch of a welcoming staff presence. it had great potential, just needs a few tweaks to make it more comfortable.

The room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean, offering a cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the helpful service from the staff and found the location perfect for senior-friendly access to the city center, just a short walk away.
More accessibility features for seniors would be beneficial.

The location of Austins was exceptional, just a short 10-minute walk from Cardiff Central and close to major attractions like the castle. The room was clean, with a cozy kettle provided for making tea and coffee. Communication with the staff was prompt and efficient, providing all necessary access details beforehand.
The shower pressure was low, making it a bit challenging to rinse hair.

Had a comfy night with a surprisingly clean shared bathroom and a warm room. The self-service check-in was a breeze, and I loved chilling out in the snug communal lounge area after a long day. Just a heads up, it took me a bit to figure out the entry pin for check-in, so don't be caught off guard! 😊

The single room was small but totally fine for a night. It was clean, had fresh sheets and towels, and the kettle for coffee was a nice touch. The radiator worked well, which was great after being out in the dreary weather. The shower was decent, hot water and good pressure for the most part. it was comfortable enough for just putting my head down. Nothing spectacular, but did the job for a budget stay.
